Death Stranding And Control Are Currently Discounted For The Pc

Headlining Humble Bundle’s sale is the PC port of Death Stranding, which is currently available for $44.99 or 25% off its original price of $59.99. To the uninitiated, Death Stranding was ported to the PC last July and features high-frame support alongside compatibility for ultra-wide monitors. Additionally, Death Stranding for the PC also includes a photo mode and features some crossover content with Valve’s Half-Life franchise, such as a head crab cap that players can wear in-game.

Following its initial release to the PlayStation 4 last year, Death Stranding received mostly positive reviews due to its exploration of real-life themes, a strong narrative that is a signature of Kojima Productions, and its immersive open-world gameplay. To those unfamiliar with the game, players take control of Sam Porter Bridges, played by Norman Reedus, who is on a mission to reconnect isolated colonies via a wireless communication network.

The game puts players in the role of Jesse who unwittingly takes the position as the Director of the Federal Bureau of Control, who is tasked to protect and monitor supernatural phenomena. Just last August, Control released its second expansion called AWE that features a crossover between Control and Alan Wake.

Also included in the sale is Control’s first DLC expansion called The Foundation, which is currently available for $10.49 or 30% off its original price. The story expansion is short but offers a solid story that expands the narrative, tying off some loose ends that were left in the main campaign. Of course, players who want to experience everything that Control has to offer should purchase the Foundation, given that it also adds new content to the game taking players far below the bureau in a cave system.
