RELATED: Hideo Kojima Has Funny Response for Fans Calling Him a Prophet
As mentioned above, Death Stranding got amazing reception on PC. The game was able to find an entirely new audience who praised many aspects of the game that were overhauled because of the new platform. As such, the game has been selling a lot more than it initially did while being a PS4 exclusive title. Thanks to this more positive reception, many new avenues could be opening up for the game’s creator Hideo Kojima and the Death Stranding IP as a whole.
Volume One of the novelization is apparently 304 pages long, so fans will have a lot of material to sink into ones it releases on November 3, 2020, in both Kindle and paperback versions. Unfortunately, at the moment it seems that hardcover versions won’t be available for purchase. Still, this novelization is only more good news for Western fans of Death Stranding and Kojima Productions. Now, there’s a much better chance that Kojima’s teases about Death Stranding 2 could hold even more weight. Though, when fans could see that is anyone’s guess.
Death Stranding’s novelization was teased by Kojima on his Instagram back in February of this year. Western fans have had to wait quite a bit for an official English translation, but thankfully the wait was nowhere as long as it could have been, as many other Japanese properties have been translated far slower if at all. Fans can look forward the English release of Death Stranding’s novelization later this fall.
Death Stranding is available now on PS4 and PC.
