The game is based on connecting people from across America and it also allows players to help each other to build connections and infrastructures online. As the first Kojima game to be released since his break with game publisher Konami, there was a great deal of expectation surrounding the title. True to Kojima’s style, the game tackled deep themes. Many have found the focus of Death Stranding on transportation and isolation has become increasingly relevant during the Coronavirus pandemic. With that in mind, many may find now to be the perfect time to pick up the title, and its PC trailer makes a compelling case.

The trailer for the game showcases the date of release which is July 14 and proceeds to boast the impressive list of awards the game and its actors have received. With luscious scenery in the background, the trailer details the new features that are scheduled to arrive on the PC version of the title, which includes widescreen support and a number of gold-tinted equipment such as sunglasses and power skeletons. Interestingly the pre-order version of the title also includes a digital artbook which likely appeals to fans of the artist who worked on this game, Yoji Shinkawa. The fan reaction to the PC version and the pre-order content has been positive so far and it will be interesting to see what the PC offering adds to Death Stranding.
Many fans have expressed excitement about using their PC to experience the game with the best visuals possible and many have noted that they do not need a complex system to run Death Stranding. While there are clear benefits from that are in the PC version, some comments have noted the odd addition of more hats for the protagonist in the game, Sam Bridges. Most players seem to be focused on the visual experience of the game than the cosmetic items, but those who are keen to get their hands on the title will likely be pleased with the additional content they will receive.
Death Stranding did not please everyone, but it has managed to develop a loyal following which is now spreading across platforms. So much so that it seems that rumors of a Death Stranding sequel have begun growing. With this PC port and the possibility of a sequel, it seems that the future of Death Stranding is bright.
