Although Kojima has deliberately left fans to speculate and wonder about what Death Stranding is, there are a few aspects of the game that the public does know. While this should be taken with a grain of salt, a rumor involving Sony Brazil’s email has surfaced, stating that Death Stranding’s release date will be announced at The Game Awards 2018 on December 6.
In terms of the gameplay itself, a leak from six months ago suggests that Death Stranding’s combat will involve “tons of weapons, vehicles, gadgets, and gear from multiple eras”. What’s more is that the same leak reveals that a multiplayer mode will also be included.
Death Stranding is currently in development exclusively for PlayStation 4, but lacks an official release date.
