Arkane Studios’ latest project just dropped everything PC players need to have in order to get Deathloop up and running. While the game’s minimum requirements are fairly standard, players looking to push their experience to the limit will need the best of the best.

For players just looking to get the game running, they will need an Intel Core i5-8400 (at 2.80 GHz) or AMD Ryzen 5 1600; 12 GB of RAM; and an Nvidia GTX 1060 (6GB) or AMD Radeon RX 580 (8GB). While these are the game’s most basic requirements, Bethesda recommends upgrading to Intel Core i7-9700K and AMD Ryzen 7 2700X processors for an optimal experience. They also recommend 16 GB of RAM and an Nvidia RTX 2060 (6GB) or AMD Radeon RX 5700 (8GB) to make the game run smoothly.

If one wishes to test the limits of PC gaming, though, they will need a powerful rig. To run the next-gen worthy Deathloop in ultra 4K at 60 FPS, players will need the following: Intel Core i9-10900k or AMD Ryzen 7 3800XT, 16 GB of RAM, and an Nvidia RTX 3080 (10GB) or AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT (16GB). Regardless of system specs, the game will take up 30 GB of storage space.

The tweet also revealed some other details, such as the game’s advanced visual settings. Players will be able to customize things such as texture and model details, ambient occlusion, TWAA sharpness, depth of field, FOV, among so many other things. The game will also support ultrawide resolutions for rigs with the monitors that can handle it. But even with the most powerful PC set-up, Deathloop may still be best experienced on PS5.

Finally, Bethesda revealed that the game will be available for pre-load 48 hours before regional release on PS5 and globally at 1:00pm EDT on September 12th.

The high-end requirements are no surprise when considering Deathloop’s incredibly involved gameplay systems. At any one time, there are going to be a lot of moving pieces and players will need systems that can handle it all.

While there are still some mysteries about Deathloop’s content, many players are excited about the evolution of Arkane Studios’ Dishonored-style gameplay. The game is offering its own unique style while also building on the things that have made Arkane such a powerhouse developer.

Deathloop will be available on September 14th for PC and PS5.
