Colt wants to get Egor and Aleksis at the party so he can kill them both at night. So, after Egor has been killed for the first time, Deathloop players are tasked with searching for Egor’s experiment evidence. The quest marker doesn’t reveal its exact location, so this guide will cover where Egor’s experiment is, setting him up for the perfect kill.

Egor’s Experiment Evidence Location

After killing Egor in Deathloop, players will be prompted by the orange quest marker to search his office for evidence of the experiment. As the marker only indicates that Colt needs to look for it in the building, it’s not immediately obvious where the important quest item is located exactly.

Egor’s experiment evidence is actually located in another office, on the ground floor of the building. Make sure Colt is down the stairs, and then go around the back to discover a small nook, and the entrance to the second office.

Go through the door and look for the map of Blackreef hanging on the wall. It splits the island into zones, and just under “Zone 2”, a document entitled “Radial Fluctuations” is pinned to the board. Read this document to see the experiment evidence that keeps Egor from Aleksis’ party. The journal will then update, and players must return to the area earlier in the loop to alter the experiment.

Killing Egor, Wenjie, and Aleksis Together

After completing the Afternoon Delight, Space Invaders, What Wenjies Want, Lost in Transmission, and Enact the Plan questlines in Deathloop, players will have the opportunity to kill three Visionaries during Aleksis’ party in Updaam at night.

It’s highly recommended to take a mostly stealthy approach to this mission, as there are a high number of ordinary enemies on top of three very powerful Visionaries. They will be even harder to kill, as four other Visionaries in Deathloop will be dead if players are aiming for a perfect loop.

Equipping the Aether Power Slab in Deathloop is a must if players wish to perform as many stealth kills without being spotted as possible. Attaching upgrades for Aether will help stay out of sight for even longer.

Deathloop is out now for PC and PS5.
