The latest clue that has Death Stranding fans talking comes from Stefanie Joosten’s Twitter account. Joosten, who played female assassin and sniper Quiet in Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, has now posted a series of images that fans have taken as confirmation that she is in Death Stranding. Joosten’s tweet includes four images and they all seem to be of the same beach location. One appears to feature a group of people on the horizon, another is of a pattern on the sand, one looks outwards towards the sea, and the final image is a close-up of some broken seashells....

This all came about after some sleuthing from Twitter users who noticed facial similarities between a new character seen in the recent Death Stranding Tokyo Game Show trailer and Joosten herself. Another Twitter user followed up by overlaying her facial profile to the character model, revealing a perfect fit. They also noted the Dutch flag on the character’s bag, as Joosten is half-Dutch. How she responded was interesting. She didn’t confirm or deny her role, but merely gave a thumbs up, followed by the Dutch flag and a smiley emoji....

Long cutscenes are nothing new to Kojima’s games, with Metal Gear Solid 4 boasting a 27 minute cutscene and 71 minutes comprised of 4 separate cutscenes in the game’s finale. However, it would seam that Death Stranding is looking to smash that record, with some critics claiming that the ending sequence in Kojima’s latest title clocks in at over 2 hours. YouTuber Kantaro Studio is responsible for replicating the device that was first shown off in Death Stranding’s third trailer. Just like the main protagonist, Sam(Norman Reedus), Kantaro Studio has the arm accompanying his left shoulder. As well as this, the arm’s propellers spin and move just like in the game. Kantaro Studio uses paper for the propellers, so they are light enough to spin and move quickly. He makes use of a 3D printer to create the arm’s heavier parts....
